Roderick Johnson

Roderick Johnson has been playing drums and mastering the instrument for more than thirty years. His playing started at Jericho Church, now known as Jericho City of Praise, under the leadership of Evangelist Betty Peebles. He eventually evolved to a high school symphony followed by attending Washington Community School of Music, and Drummers Collective in New York City. Roderick later went on to tour with the famous Howard University's Gospel Choir for four years. Roderick's recording credits include: five CD's, and a number of jingle commercials produced in the Washington metropolitan area. Other career highlights include performing for the R&B group Blue Magic, Mark Green of The Moments, Washington's legend guitarist, Charlie Byrd and other well known jazz ensembles.
